Solar Panels

Generate More of Your Own Electricity.

Generate clean electricity from your roof and reduce how much you buy from the grid. Every solar system we install is carefully designed around your home, your energy usage and your future plans.

Why Solar?

More Than Just Lower Energy Bills.

Solar panels do more than generate electricity. They help you take greater control of your energy, reduce your reliance on the grid and create long-term savings for years to come.

Generate Your Own Electricity

Turn your roof into a source of clean electricity, reducing how much energy you need to buy from the grid.

Lower Your Energy Bills

The more electricity you generate and use yourself, the less you rely on increasingly expensive grid electricity.

Reduce Reliance on the Grid

Generate more of your own power and become less affected by rising energy prices and market fluctuations.

Earn from Surplus Energy

If you generate more electricity than you use, eligible energy suppliers can pay you for the excess you export back to the grid through the Smart Export Guarantee.

A Long-Term Investment

A professionally designed solar system can continue generating electricity for decades, helping deliver savings year after year.

Lower Your Carbon Footprint

Generate clean, renewable electricity at home and reduce your household’s environmental impact without changing the way you live.

How Solar Works

Generate. Use. Store. Save.

Every part of a solar system has one job. Tap a point on the diagram to see how the electricity flows from the sun to your sockets, and where the surplus goes.

Smart Export Guarantee

Get Paid for the Electricity You Don’t Use.

When your solar panels generate more electricity than your home needs, the excess can be exported back to the grid. Through the Smart Export Guarantee, eligible energy suppliers pay you for the electricity you export, helping you get even more value from your solar system.

Because Arktek is MCS certified, eligible installations can benefit from the Smart Export Guarantee, and we’ll explain how it works during your home survey.

Is Solar Right for My Home?

The Five Things We Look At.

Most homes are more suitable for solar than their owners realise. During your home survey, we’ll assess the factors that have the biggest impact on performance and design a system that’s right for your property.

Roof Direction

South-facing roofs are ideal, but east and west-facing roofs can also deliver excellent results. We’ll recommend the best layout for your home.

Roof Size

Most homes have enough roof space for a worthwhile solar installation. We’ll design a system that makes the best use of the space available.

Shade

Trees, chimneys and neighbouring buildings can affect performance. We’ll assess any shading and factor it into your system design.

Your Electricity Usage

Understanding when and how you use electricity helps us recommend a system that’s properly sized for your home and lifestyle.

Battery Storage

A battery isn’t essential, but it can help you store more of the electricity you generate and rely less on the grid once the sun goes down.

Why Arktek?

A Solar System Is Only as Good as the Company That Installs It.

From system design to installation and certification, we make sure every solar system is built to deliver reliable performance for years to come.

Designed Around Your Home

We don’t install one-size-fits-all systems. Every solar installation is designed around your roof, your electricity usage and your long-term goals.

MCS Certified Installation

As an MCS certified installer, eligible solar installations can benefit from the Smart Export Guarantee, helping you earn from surplus electricity exported back to the grid.

Support Beyond Installation

Our relationship doesn’t end when the panels are on your roof. We’re here to provide ongoing support whenever you need us.

Battery Storage

Make More of the Electricity You Generate.

A battery stores surplus solar electricity during the day, allowing you to use it later when your home needs it most. That means buying less electricity from the grid and making even better use of your solar panels.
